Bluegum Hill is ideally located for visitors to Cape Town…
- 2 minutes drive to South Africa's “Mother City”, dating back to April 1652, markets, shops, restaurants, pubs, museums, the Castle and the famous Company Gardens.
- 5 minutes drive to the bustling V & A Waterfront.
- 10 minutes drive to majestic Table Mountain.
- 15 minutes drive to Cape Towns' famous Clifton and Camp’s Bay beaches.
Although we are not in short walking distance to the City and Waterfront - guests enjoy walking to the Waterfront, 30 minutes downhill by foot and City centre 20 minutes by foot.
Coming home by foot is rather tiring as it's uphill all the way back.
We do not advise walking at night and taxis are inexpensive and easily available.
There are many fine restaurants in the area - we can gladly book a variety of restaurants for our guests.

Red open top London double decker busses offering 2 scenic routes – Red & Blue Routs - en route commentary on a hop on and hop off basis. Depart all day – 7 days a week.
We can organize a private, direct transfer with our preferred Taxi company from R230.00 – R260.00 per transfer one way for 1 - 4 adults.
Guests are met at the airport by the driver with a signboard and dropped off right at our door. Drivers can be paid direct.

These are scheduled group tours with a tour guide in 11 – 14 seater small buses with 8 to 12 passengers.
Full day group Tours cost around R630.00 per person.

Local car hire companies do not all allow their vehicles to be dropped off outside the greater Cape Town area - i.e. the Garden Route, Durban.
